About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to support and grow our customer base in the New York region within the retail packaging industry. This role is ideal for someone who excels in relationship-building, understands the retail supply chain, and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment. You will serve as a key partner to retail and brand clients, ensuring they receive high-quality packaging solutions that align with their performance, sustainability, and branding needs.

Responsibilities

Business Development & Client Acquisition

/ Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities within the NY retail and brand market.

/ Expand existing customer accounts through solution-based selling and proactive relationship management.

/ Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.

Account Management

/ Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, delivering an exceptional customer experience.

/ Develop strategic account plans to drive revenue growth and retention.

/ Manage the complete sales cycle from inquiry to order placement, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

Product & Industry Knowledge

/ Maintain strong expertise in packaging materials, trims, labels, RFID-integrated solutions, and related supply chain workflows.

/ Collaborate with internal teams (design, operations, production, RFID specialists) to deliver accurate product information and proposals.

/ Present product capabilities, sustainability options, and custom solutions to clients.

Sales Reporting & Administration

/ Track and report sales activities in CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).

/ Prepare forecasts, client presentations, pricing proposals, and project timelines.

/ Monitor and communicate market changes, customer requests, and potential operational impacts.

Collaboration

/ Work closely with cross-functional teams—including operations, design, customer service, and supply chain—to ensure successful project execution.

/ Partner with leadership to support company-wide commercial strategies and revenue goals.

Travel Requirements

/ 20-50% travel

Qualifications

Required

/ 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in retail packaging, trims & labels, printing, apparel manufacturing, or related B2B industries.

/ Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

/ Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

/ Ability to manage a fast-paced workload and prioritize effectively.

/ Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and travel within the region as needed.

Preferred

/ Experience working with major retail brands or packaging procurement teams.

/ Familiarity with RFID labeling or supply-chain compliance programs.

Education

/ High school diploma or GED

/ Associate or bachelor’s degree (depending on role level)

/ Familiarity with packaging or manufacturing

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $100,000–$125,000, commensurate with experience.

Commission Target: 20-30%

Compensation Statement:

Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and market conditions. Commission and bonus opportunities may also apply.
