NovaPoly™ T2T is a trademarked yarn resulting from the partnership between a premium fashion brand, Jiaren Chemical Recycling, and NBC LLC. Made entirely from pre- and post-consumer textile waste, it is engineered with an advanced enzymatic additive that enables biodegradation at end of life in both anaerobic and aerobic environments. Fully recyclable with all existing polyester recycling systems.

How biodegradation works
The NBC additive attracts microorganisms to the NovaPoly™ T2T yarn and assists in breaking down long polymer chains into shorter segments — making it easier for microbes and methanogens to consume and digest the material.
Testing & certifications
All biodegradability claims are independently verified by Intertek at a third-party testing lab, including: ASTM D5511, ASTM D6691, ASTM D5210, ISO 24187, RCS Certified, Intertek Green Leaf Mark.
Additionally, NovaPoly™ T2T was nominated for the ECO Design Award in 2025.
